diy - tank 'jurassic red white blue'

patriot partial bottom fossil Aquarium
->☽✧-Δ-✧☾<-

Easy set up of a vibrant tank with a partial bare bottom and dinosaur bones, starring my fancy goldfish - Hendrix, Neeko and Bobbi (yes they do glow :). Sometimes the simple set up of decor is best and I don't think your pets like tanks that resemble a bad bikini from the 80s. Something I've noticed with the bare bottom or partial bare bottom tanks is the goldies like to glide along the smooth bottom and play... Don't worry about some of the floating particles from new substrate if cleaned proper the tank will settle within the hour. Just excuse some of my guys turning out a little bury but they get super excited when i change the tank and even play/muzzle my hands when i do so and they'd just eaten bloodworms. From the Chapter ‘Aquaria’ (Link)
✧☾ What I Used ☽✧
2 x 50cm soft plastic red plants
2 x aquarium safe hollow logs
Whiter river rocks
White river stones
Aquarium safe T-rex
Aquariums safe triceratops
✧☾ Directions ☽✧
... Note I painted the tank before its initial set up (link coming)
... Turn off filter and remove some water into a separate tub/bucket with siphon (vacuum up/clean tank bottom)
... Turn filter back on just make sure the filter is still fully submersed in water (you don't want the filter turned off for more than 5 or you'll star having the good bacteria colonies die-ing on you)
... Clean river rocks and stones with siphoned water (link coming)
... Adjust one of the plants with a sucker (link coming)
... Remove any substrate (link coming)
... Clean removed ornaments (link coming) dry and store away
... Rinse new ornaments with tank water from water change
... Arrange (I use a log to disguise the air stone)
... Top with conditioned fresh water
... Thank-you, don’t forget to follow and Share.
